The Industrial Field Solutions Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales revenue by engaging with potential and existing customers remotely, focusing on lead generation and relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Qualification - Identify and qualify potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, email outreach, and utilizing online resources and business directories
- Sales Presentations and Demonstrations - Present products or services to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and how they can address specific customer needs. Create and provide quotes as needed
- Relationship Building - Develop and nurture relationships with customers to build trust and loyalty, fostering long-term partnerships
- CRM Management - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM and ERP systems
- Collaboration - Work closely with other sales team members, marketing, Field Services and Lab Pack Project Managers, and other departments to align sales strategies and achieve overall company goals
- Service and Product Knowledge - Stay informed about the company's Field Services and Lab Pack offerings and services, as well as industry trends, to effectively communicate value to customers
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 1 year of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or a minimum of 5 years work experience in lieu of education
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with customers and presenting information
- Proven ability to prospect, qualify leads, build rapport, and close sales
- Ability to persuade customers and negotiate terms to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales technologies
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
- Ability to handle rejection and adapt to changing sales environments
- Sales experience in the Industrial Field Services and Lab Pack industries preferred
