As a Medical Writing Intern, you will work with the Market Access team to develop content for pharmaceutical marketing materials and gain exposure to medical writing principles.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Market Access team to gain exposure to the principles of medical writing
- Develop content for a range of deliverables targeting access decision makers
- Build essential skills in evaluating scientific literature, coordinating references, and verifying the accuracy of cited information used in pharmaceutical marketing materials and medical, legal, and regulatory submissions
Skills
- PharmD candidates expected to graduate by June 2026
- Impeccable written and verbal communications skills
- Expertise in gathering, evaluating, and summarizing scientific literature
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
- Working knowledge of AMA style guide
- Prior experience in areas such as Medical and Drug Information
- Prior experience in areas such as Medical Affairs
- Prior experience in areas such as Regulatory Affairs
- Prior experience in areas such as New Product Commercialization
- Prior experience in areas such as Promotional Agencies
- Working knowledge of managed markets, healthcare systems, and healthcare delivery
- Involvement in professional organizations such as Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and Industry Pharmacists Organization (IPhO)
