Remote Part-time Bookkeeper
This is a remote position. We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Part-time Bookkeeper. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, is highly organised, and can maintain accurate financial records while balancing multiple priorities. This role will require a minimum of 10 hours per week commitment. Working remotely, you will support day-to-day accounting functions and provide accurate financial information that drives informed decision-making.
Core Bookkeeping Duties
• Record daily financial transactions accurately and promptly
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
• Assist with payroll preparation and related reconciliations
• Prepare and deliver basic financial reports and summaries for management
Administrative & Support Duties
• Maintain accurate, well-organised, and up-to-date financial records
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and relevant regulations
• Provide ad-hoc support for finance-related administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
• 13 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related finance role
• Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and accuracy
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly in writing and over video/phone calls
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks within a 10-hour work week
• Previous experience working remotely or in a part-time/small-business finance environment is advantageous
