Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a REMOTE Security Architect to architect scalable Prisma-based environments, develop Zero Trust roadmaps, and deliver automated, resilient solutions across cloud and on-premises platforms.
You’ll work with tools like Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, Prisma Cloud, Strata Cloud Manager, and automation technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python—all while collaborating in an Agile environment to stay ahead of evolving threats.
Responsibilities for Security Architect:
• Design secure network architectures featuring ZTNA, SD-WAN, VPN alternatives, and MSSP frameworks.
• Automate deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and Python, creating reusable configurations and policy templates.
• Implement advanced threat prevention: DLP, SSL inspection, URL filtering, malware protection, sandboxing, and SaaS security.
• Communicate architectural solutions and Zero Trust strategies to stakeholders.
• Lead incident response and security audits using Prisma’s analytics tools.
Qualifications for Security Architect:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• CISSP preferred.
• 5+ years in network security architecture/engineering.
• Deep expertise with Palo Alto Prisma suite and Zero Trust frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with SASE, ZTNA, SD-WAN, and automation tools.
• strong communication skills and ability to lead technical projects.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
Compensation for Security Architect:
• Pay Range: $150,000 - $180,000 (based on years of experience and education)
