The Senior HR Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, aligning talent strategies with business outcomes and driving organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
• Partner with business leaders to identify current and future talent needs, using workforce data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities
• Lead talent and workforce planning efforts, including headcount, skills, and capability planning in collaboration with Talent Acquisition
• Support and guide performance management, pay-for-performance, and underperformance management practices
• Work with Learning & Development on talent development, succession planning, and closing skill gaps
• Promote engagement through surveys, feedback initiatives, and action planning
• Advice on talent policies, employee relations, conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, promotions, and organizational changes
• Monitor and interpret key talent metrics (turnover, retention, engagement, development effectiveness) and review insights with leadership
• Act as a change agent during organizational and cultural shifts, supporting leaders and teams through transitions
• Collaborate across HR and other functions to align talent programs, compensation, benefits, and rewards with business needs
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and (where applicable) HIPAA and other regulatory requirements
Skills
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field
• 8+ years of HR experience (HRBP, talent management, or organizational development)
• Proven success partnering with corporate leaders on talent strategies; experience in the technology sector strongly preferred
• Strategic thinker who is also comfortable being hands-on and operating in fast-paced, high-growth, or matrixed environments
• Strong consultative, coaching, and influencing skills; confident working with strong personalities (e.g., finance, legal) and handling challenging conversations using data
• Proficiency with HR technology, analytics tools, and workforce planning; advanced Excel skills are a plus
• Solid knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and HR best practices
• HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar are preferred
