Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect – People Technology who will own the design, development, and delivery of scalable, data‑centric solutions that power DoorDash’s HR, talent acquisition, and workforce analytics capabilities. This is a fully remote, full‑time role offering a competitive hourly rate of $25, with immediate start dates for qualified candidates. The Solutions Architect will work closely with senior leaders, product managers, data engineers, and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures that enable data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Create end‑to‑end technical blueprints for people‑technology solutions, including data pipelines, storage layers, and analytics platforms that support HR operations, talent management, and employee experience initiatives.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR leaders, product managers, and engineering squads to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation.

- Solution Delivery: Lead the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle—from prototyping and proof‑of‑concept to production rollout—while maintaining rigorous quality standards and documentation.
- Testing & Validation: Develop comprehensive testing frameworks, conduct performance tuning, and validate data integrity to guarantee reliable, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce detailed architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and best‑practice guides; mentor junior engineers and serve as a subject‑matter expert on people‑technology trends.

Essential Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 + years as a Project/Product Manager or Solutions Architect within a technology‑focused team, preferably supporting HR or people‑analytics domains.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and data pipeline frameworks (Airflow, DBT, Prefect). Familiarity with AWS services, Databricks, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
