As a Student Success Mentor, you'll be responsible for building relationships with students and families, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to help them achieve their long-term goals. About the Role:
- Utilize the Check and Connect methodology to build relationships with students and families, providing support and guidance to drive success
- Monitor student progress, identify barriers to success, and develop strategies to overcome them
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special services staff, and learning coaches to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support
- Master and leverage proven strategies to drive student engagement and success, using company-provided tactics and tools
- Participate in company events, activities, and meetings, embodying our values of integrity, humility, and joy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of successful customer service experience in a professional environment
- Minimum of 2 years of educational experience
- Strong background in student support services, mentoring, educational programs, and communication
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment and juggle multiple tasks
- Comfortable with making mandated reported calls and working with students of different backgrounds
