Job Description:
• Design P2P processes for buying transportation capacity, 3rd-party logistics services, facility services, and specialized healthcare packaging (insulated containers, dry ice, monitoring devices).
• Configure contracts, scheduling agreements, and service procurement to manage carrier agreements, DC services, and external warehousing providers.
• Set up supplier evaluation and approval processes aligned with vendor qualification for handling healthcare products and cold-chain materials.
• Integrate procurement with inventory management and FI/CO to ensure accurate accruals, cost allocation to DCs/routes, and visibility of logistics cost drivers.
• Support conversion of purchasing data (vendors, source lists, contracts) from legacy SAP to S/4HANA and testing of P2P scenarios relevant to logistics.
• Collaborate with network planning, operations, and finance to align procurement strategies with capacity plans and service levels.
Requirements:
• 8+ years in SAP MM Procurement with 3+ S/4HANA implementations, including service procurement and contract management.
• Expertise in complete P2P cycle: requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, goods receipt, invoice verification, and service entry sheets.
• Proven experience configuring service procurement for transportation, facility maintenance, and logistics outsourcing.
• Hands-on experience with release strategies, approval workflows, and supplier consignment/stock transfer orders.
• Experience integrating procurement with inventory management and financial accounting for accurate cost control.
• Procurement experience in logistics/transportation companies or sourcing for large distribution networks.
• Experience with SAP Ariba, SRM, or SAP Business Network for strategic sourcing and supplier collaboration.
• Knowledge of vendor qualification processes for handling pharma/healthcare products and cold-chain materials.
• Familiarity with transportation procurement (freight tenders, carrier contracts, rate management).
• Exposure to indirect spend management for MRO, packaging, and facility services in logistics operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
• SAP and/or S/4HANA certifications preferred.
