Sales Internship

We are currently looking for part-time sales interns to work alongside our dynamic and accomplished sales team. The internship will focus on learning: • The creation and execution of effective sales outreach programs • How to research prospective clients for sales outreach • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners This is a fully remote internship but it is crucial that candidates are located in one of the following regions of Upstate New York: Albany, Saratoga, Glens Falls, Lake George, and/or the Adirondacks. Duties may include any or all of the following: • Contribute to house account maintenance to build and maintain relationships • Collaborate with the sales team to create and execute targeted outreach campaigns • Conduct research to find solid prospects • Cold call to assist in setting up meetings • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions • Channel your organizational skills to help the team with a variety of tasks • Work with clients to gather information such as: dinner specials, event dates, etc.. • Provide administrative support to the sales team Ideal Candidates: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills • Ability to work independently and in a team • Goal-oriented and results-driven • Highly motivated and eager to learn • Positive attitude and ability to handle rejection • Good time management and organizational skills • You’re comfortable with cold calling and making sales pitches • You’re a college freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or grad student • You have strong regional knowledge of the Capital/Saratoga Region and/or the Adirondacks Apply Now Apply Now
