Sales Optimisation Executive – New Zealand (Remote)
Your Impact
This is a high-impact role sitting at the heart of our commercial strategy, where you’ll help shape how we go to market across New Zealand. Partnering closely with the Senior Manager – Sales Optimisation & Execution, you’ll drive smarter planning, stronger execution, and improved productivity across our field sales teams.
You’ll play a key role in bringing our “One Asahi” vision to life, ensuring our sales teams are set up to win through clear priorities, efficient resource allocation, and data-led decision making.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and own Go-To-Market strategies across New Zealand, translating commercial calendar activity into actionable CRM plans for field teams
- Define, track, and communicate field sales capacity to optimise coverage and execution
- Partner cross-functionally to shape the commercial calendar, representing the voice of field sales and customers
- Analyse field resource models and identify opportunities to improve efficiency aligned to FTE:NSV ratios
- Develop and manage customer and channel segmentation frameworks (Gold/Silver/Bronze/White)
- Create and execute monthly field priorities, ensuring alignment within Salesforce CRM
- Drive field journey planning by monitoring adherence to visit strategies and identifying productivity improvements
- Oversee CRM reporting and performance analytics to deliver actionable insights across the commercial function
- Build and enhance Salesforce dashboards to enable self-service reporting
- Support change initiatives and system rollouts, embedding new tools, processes, and ways of working across the business
About You
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM and strong capability in Excel and data analysis
- Solid understanding of field sales environments, ideally within FMCG or liquor
- Knowledge of multiple sales channels including grocery, on-premise, and route trade
- Commercially minded with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across functions
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strong change mindset
- Confident communicator with the ability to present to both small and large audiences
