The Sales Support Associate plays a critical role in the operations of the Group Benefits sales team, working closely with Account Managers and Group Benefit Analysts to deliver products to the market. Responsibilities - Prepare quotes and presentations via in-house software and Microsoft Office suite tools - Package and email annual renewals to advisors on behalf of Account Executives - Underwrite and price new groups and amendments - Work collaboratively with Group Benefit Analysts and Account Managers to deliver Canada Life products to the market - Develop a strong competency of our systems and processes - Act as a liaison between our office and advisors to investigate and gather missing information - Certain assignments and specialized tasks: such as broker commissions, report creation, and other various administrative duties Skills - Post-secondary education - Strong critical thinking skills with an analytical approach - Strong attention to detail - Proficient in using Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe; aptitude for learning new technologies - Excellent time management and organization: ability to prioritize multiple tasks and expectations, ability to plan and organize work, meets deadlines - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
