• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial business processes, and ability to design solutions for complex business requirements.
• Expertise in SAP FICO configuration and customization.
• Hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and SAP CO (Controlling) modules.
• Experience in requirements gathering, system design, customization, integration with other SAP modules.
• Proficient in testing, data migration, user training, and providing ongoing support to ensure seamless financial processes and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Detailed Job Description
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA FICO implementation and support.
• Work on rollouts and enhancements for SAP Finance modules in an S/4HANA environment.
• Collaborate directly with customer Finance SMEs for all SAP Finance requirements, issues, and deliverables.
• Experience working with cross-functional areas such as OTC (Order-to-Cash) and PTP (Procure-to-Pay).
• Experience working with interfaces integrating SAP Finance with external applications.
• Working knowledge of Flexible Workflows within Financial Accounting.
• Strong ability to plan deliverables across all phases of rollout projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements; understand client needs and functionality.
• Document business requirements and validate proposed solutions with the client.
• Design, customize, configure, and test FI/CO modules.
• Experience with cutover planning for Finance activities.
• Identify gaps, issues, and propose workaround or long-term solutions.
• Strong understanding of FI integration points with other SAP modules.
• Act as a liaison between client teams and technical teams for issue resolution.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables/projects simultaneously.
• Work with business users to translate requirements into functional designs, test cases, and documentation.
• Proactively identify and implement process or system improvements.
• Strong communication skills for status reporting and client interaction.
• Provide training and support to key users and end users.
• Ability to work independently; may serve as a subject-matter mentor to team members.
• Must be result-oriented with a positive, proactive can-do attitude adaptable, flexible, and resourceful.
