About the Opportunity
We are hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced SAP MM/PP Configurator to support both daily operational needs and strategic project initiatives across global manufacturing sites.
This is a highly cross-functional, globally connected role that balances hands-on system support with system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Role Overview
The SAP MM/PP Configurator will manage system configuration, troubleshooting, data migration, and integration support. The role requires strong collaboration across procurement, supply chain, production, IT, and global site teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure and support SAP MM (Materials Management) and PP (Production Planning) modules
• Troubleshoot and resolve daily SAP system issues and support tickets
• Manage data migration activities using tools such as LSMW
• Implement system enhancements and process improvements across global manufacturing sites
• Support integrations with third-party systems
• Translate business requirements into SAP solutions
• Coordinate testing, deployment, and cross-location rollouts
• Document configurations, processes, and system changes
• Train end users and provide ongoing support
• Participate in occasional travel as required
Workload
This role balances operational support with project-based initiatives, including:
• System troubleshooting and ticket resolution
• Data migration and master data tasks
• Configuration enhancements
• Cross-site coordination and deployment support
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP MM/PP configuration experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain processes
• Experience with LSMW or similar SAP data migration tools
• Experience supporting global or multi-site SAP environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
