Senior Accountant - Convenience Stores

PDI® (Professional Data Technologies Inc®) experience in the convenience store setting is required. Retail Management Inc (RMI) is a management company that provides operations, marketing and accounting services to retail locations such as convenience stores (with and without fuel), food establishments, vape shops and liquor stores. We are a highly dynamic and fast-paced organization, with new and exciting projects on the horizon! This position is a newly created role – and the individual who fills it will be an integral part of our team, as well as a significant contributor to our continued growth. Responsibilities: · Prepare and enter journal entries in the general ledger · Record and reconcile various intercompany accounts · Diagnose the cause of inventory and cash and cash equivalent variances, and provide analysis to internal and external stakeholders · Assist in the coordination and work related to various audits and compliance related activities. · Assist in the ongoing support and maintenance of the organization’s software system and processes therein · Participate in the organization’s various one-off projects and ventures Qualifications: · Experience with PDI (Professional Data Technologies, Inc.) required · Experience with other large ERP systems · Strong skills in MSoft365 applications, specifically Excel · Experience with 3-way match accounting processes · Experience manipulating a large volume of data, with concentration on high-volume low dollar reconciliation · Ability to manage various import/export batches and analyze errors in output reports · Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate with the organization’s vendors and operation’s team effectively · Time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively · Ability to work independently and autonomously with minimal supervision Education: · Bachelor’s degree preferred Benefits: · Health Insurance · Life Insurance · Vision Insurance · Dental Insurance · Health Savings Account · Paid Time Off · 401(k) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid sick time • Paid time off • Vision insurance • Work from home Experience: • PDI (Professional Data Technologies Inc.): 2 years (Required) Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
