JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Accountant – Private-Equity Backed Healthcare Company Location: REMOTE to Florida Residents (US. Residents only) $80 000 - $ 95 000 plus bonus Company Overview Our client is a fast-growing, private equity-backed company in the specialized in the healthcare sector. With multiple locations across Florida, our client prides ourselves on offering well-rounded care, combining medical, radiology, and chiropractic expertise to provide personalized treatment. About The Role Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant as a newly created role to join their finance team. This role offers exposure across the business and financial processes, with the opportunity to own and develop updated financial processes. In this role, you’ll get broad exposure, meaningful responsibility including the ability to own processes, and direct interaction with executive leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to see the big picture in a complex, fast-paced environment. This is a dynamic role that offers a great blend of accounting and finance in a Senior Accountant role. Key Responsibilities of Senior Accountant: • Work directly with the Controller as a key member of the month-end close process, including posting journal entries, preparing reconciliations, and assisting with variance analysis • Prepare and review financial statement schedules, including lease valuation and balance sheet analysis • Support the development and implementation of internal controls, processes, and systems improvements • Assist with financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders • Partner with operations and leadership to provide financial insights and support • Support annual audit activities, working directly with external auditors to ensure a successful audit Qualifications of the Senior Accountant: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required • CPA preferred • 3–6 years of relevant experience; public accounting strongly preferred • Experience in healthcare or private equity-backed environments (+) • Strong knowledge of US GAAP • Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables • Attention to detail with the ability to balance high-level strategic thinking • Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a desire to learn • Comfortable operating in a small team with a wide range of responsibilities #LI-TJ1 #INMAY2025 Apply Job!
