Job Description:
• Ensures the accuracy, reliability, and operational health of the organization's ServiceNow CMDB and related ITIL processes
• Owns and optimizes the ServiceNow CMDB, including data models, governance, discovery, integrations, and platform support aligned to ITIL v4/CSDM
• Ensures CMDB data quality, reliability, and audit readiness through monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
• Partners with ITSM, infrastructure, application, asset, and security teams to support impact analysis, root cause analysis, and dependency mapping
• Leads cross‑functional collaboration, mentor CMDB resources, and maintain documentation, standards, and roadmap initiatives
• Advises on application security, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery needs
• Plans and agrees on the scope of configuration management processes and the configuration items
• Manages and monitors application and compliance of security administration procedures
Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
• 4 – 6 years of related experience
• 5+ years supporting ServiceNow in an enterprise environment, including CMDB administration
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and integration principles
• Practical understanding of CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
• Experience administering integration workflows, MID Servers, APIs, and ETL pipelines
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, cloud, containers)
• Familiarity with Transform maps, Script includes, Business rules, Scheduled jobs, Flow Designer
• Strong analytical skills and experience troubleshooting CI data accuracy and reconciliation issues
• ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification preferred
