This role is designed for a highly skilled Senior Compliance Consultant with strong expertise in AML policy drafting, legal documentation, regulatory interpretation, and SOP/framework creation. You will lead high-quality compliance documentation projects, oversee multi-country regulatory research, and guide a team of analysts while working directly with clients across the GCC region. This is a permanent work-from-home role for India-based professionals who can operate comfortably in the UAE time zone and deliver consulting-standard work that aligns with strict regulatory expectations.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Policy, SOP & Framework Creation
• Develop end-to-end AML policies, sanctions policies, CDD/KYC manuals, governance frameworks, and compliance charters.
• Draft detailed SOPs for AML workflows such as onboarding, monitoring, sanctions screening, escalation, and STR/SAR processes.
• Create documentation aligned with major Gulf regulatory bodies (CBUAE, MOI, FIU, ADGM, DFSA).
• Prepare multi-country AML policy variants for UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and KSA.
• Conduct regulatory research and translate complex rulebooks, circulars, and updates into actionable compliance documents.
• Produce audit-ready deliverables that meet consulting and Big 4–level quality standards.
Risk Assessment & Reporting
• Prepare Enterprise Risk Assessments (ERA), AML risk reports, and compliance monitoring summaries.
• Conduct gap assessments across multiple GCC jurisdictions.
• Develop red flag indicators, audit findings, and compliance review reports.
Legal Drafting & Advisory
• Prepare structured compliance advisories, legal notes, regulatory interpretations, and formal response letters.
• Analyze evolving regulations and integrate changes into policy documentation.
Team Leadership
• Lead and manage a team of 5+ compliance analysts.
• Review document quality, guide the team on regulatory interpretation, and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Allocate work efficiently and maintain strong internal communication.
Client Collaboration
• Present reports and drafted policies directly to clients.
• Manage delivery timelines and ensure alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
What Makes You a Great Fit
• Strong command over AML policy drafting, SOP creation, regulatory documentation, and governance frameworks.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in compliance documentation or legal drafting.
• Professional qualifications such as CA / CS / LLB that support strong regulatory understanding.
• Proven ability to produce consulting-style documentation with clear structure, precision, and attention to detail.
• Leadership experience managing teams of 5+ analysts.
• Extensive exposure to AML, regulatory compliance, or multi-country risk assessments.
• Excellent English drafting skills with the ability to simplify regulatory content into clear operational frameworks.
• Experience working with GCC regulatory environments is highly advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects remotely while maintaining high standards of accuracy and delivery.
