As a member of our Acquisition team, you will leverage your creative leadership and communication skills to drive user experience design and entertainment innovation. You will work across Mobile, Web, and TV platforms, testing new ideas and approaches to content design that inform, educate, guide, and delight while creating business value.
About the Role:
You will be part of a cross-functional team, collaborating with Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Consumer Researchers to develop and test content design strategies. Your expertise in writing copy that converts, flexing your writing style, and using words and tone of voice to bring products to life will be essential in this role.
Your Skills:
- Proven ability to write copy that converts and adapt your writing style to communicate the value of a Netflix membership to a global audience
- Experience in using words and tone of voice to bring products to life and align with our brand personality
- Familiarity with experiment design and working closely with Designers, Product Marketing, and Product Managers to develop hypotheses and test plans
- Storytelling expertise, with the ability to craft and orchestrate cohesive narratives across channels
- Systems thinking, with a focus on developing scalable language frameworks
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to advocate for your point of view in a candid, feedback-driven culture
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, providing concepting, content strategy, and writing from early ideation through final execution
- Initiate innovation projects and identify opportunities to join existing projects to elevate the quality of their communications
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant writing experience (Content Strategy, Marketing, UX Writing)
- Experience with A/B testing (preferred)
- Ability to work autonomously and make strategic decisions independently
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and people skills
- Mastery of AP style, with the confidence to know when to break the rules
