To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a deep understanding of covered plan benefits, as well as knowledge of physician practice and hospital coding, billing, and medical terminology. You should be comfortable taking escalated calls and issues, utilizing your experience and expertise to resolve complex problems. Additionally, you will need to have a basic understanding of MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
