Senior Data Scientist - Retail

Description: • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to improve search relevance, ranking, and personalization • Analyze large-scale user interaction data to identify opportunities for improving search performance • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ML models into production search systems using Elasticsearch • Conduct A/B testing and performance evaluation of search algorithms and features • Develop NLP and deep learning models to enhance query understanding, product categorization, and semantic search • Drive innovation in AI-powered search features such as autocomplete, spell correction, and recommendation systems • Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices in data science and ML engineering Requirements: • 5+ years of experience of Data Engineering experience with a preference of at least 2 of those years working in a Data Scientist capacity • 2+ years developing and implementing Neural Networks, kNN, natural language processing (NLP), learn-to-rank (LTR) solutions in a production environment • Deep understanding of various LTR algorithms, including LambdaMART, RankNet, and LightGBM • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch • Experience working with large datasets and developing scalable data pipelines • Experience with A/B testing and data analysis for measuring model performance Benefits: • Affordable medical plan options, a 401(k) plan (including matching company contributions), and an employee stock purchase plan • No-cost programs for all colleagues including wellness screenings, tobacco cessation and weight management programs, confidential counseling and financial coaching • Benefit solutions that address the different needs and preferences of our colleagues including paid time off, flexible work schedules, family leave, dependent care resources, colleague assistance programs, tuition assistance, retiree medical access and many other benefits depending on eligibility • For more information, visit Apply tot his job
