Job Description:
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.
• Lead and manage the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, training, compensation, and compliance.
• Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
• Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition efforts to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
• Design and administer performance management systems to support employee growth and accountability.
• Direct the development and delivery of training programs that enhance employee skills and support career advancement.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures.
• Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with organizational needs.
• Promote employee engagement, recognition programs, and initiatives that support a positive workplace culture.
• Oversee investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes with fairness and consistency.
• Develop and monitor HR metrics, reports, and analytics to support decision-making.
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the organization.
• Manage HR budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, managers, and employees on HR-related issues.
• Provide on-call support as required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
• 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning, talent management, and organizational development.
• Proven track record of managing employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices, including extensive experience and knowledge of California law.
• Experience with immigration visa programs such as H2-B and Puerto Rico law.
• Multistate experience including California (National, Regional or Area).
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Previous Hospitality and/or Staffing Experience a plus.
• SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification (preferred).
