Mission: Empowering Students to Build Careers That Matter At The Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement (SCLA), we bridge the gap between the classroom and a meaningful career. We are a national ecosystem of 125,000+ members across 850+ campuses. We are currently experiencing a 320% growth surge and need a technical partner who can build the high-performance architecture required to sustain this impact. The Role We are seeking a HubSpot "Unicorn" to lead three distinct projects. This role requires a blend of pixel-perfect frontend development and a growth-marketing mindset. Our technical lead will review all applications for code quality and layout logic. Project 1: Technical Audit & Microsite Stabilization The Context: We recently experienced critical rendering failures on our campus microsites (e.g., theSCLA.org/CMU), where desktop layouts collapsed/overlapped (see attached screenshot). While a patch may be in place, we need a permanent fix. The Scope: Audit our existing CSS/HubL architecture to identify root causes of layout failures. Refactor and "bulletproof" the templates to ensure stable, responsive rendering across all 850+ campus variations. Project 2: New Custom Website Build (Figma to HubSpot) The Scope: Build a brand-new HubSpot website from finalized Figma designs (approx. 12 pages). The Expectation: Zero-bloat, custom-coded execution. You must be an expert in HubL and CSS. We do not use pre-made marketplace themes. The backend must be built using flexible HubSpot modules/DND areas so our internal team can manage content easily. Project 3: Conversion Optimization & Weekly A/B Testing The Scope: Implement aggressive A/B testing on 3-4 key Higher Ed landing pages. The Expectation: You will take new design hypotheses from Figma and rapidly deploy test variations every week. You must ensure that "Version B" code is scoped correctly and does not create global CSS conflicts or regressions. Requirements Location: Strictly US-Based. Must be available during EST/CST business hours. Technical: Mastery of HubL, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience: Proven track record of translating Figma/design files into high-performance HubSpot sites (no "hacked" templates). Vetting: We will review your portfolio specifically for CSS cleanliness. If your code relies on !important tags to fix basic layout issues, this is not the right fit.
