Senior Operations Manager

Job Description We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimize supply chain, logistics, and fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing freight across East Asia (especially shipments from Vietnam to Japan) and proven expertise in direct-to-consumer e-commerce operations. This role will oversee warehouse/3PL management, Shopify and Amazon fulfillment, and factory sourcing while driving process improvements to scale operations efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage freight and logistics operations, with a focus on East Asia to Japan shipping routes. Oversee Shopify–warehouse integrations and ensure smooth fulfillment workflows. Manage 3PL vendors and monitor performance against SLAs. Lead Amazon fulfillment operations and optimize for efficiency and cost savings. Source and coordinate with factories to ensure timely, quality production. Drive operational improvements using methodologies such as Six Sigma or Kaizen. Monitor KPIs and provide reporting on supply chain and fulfillment performance. Requirements Requirements 3–6 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics management. Hands-on experience with freight/logistics between East Asia and Japan . Proven track record in direct-to-consumer operations (Shopify required). Experience managing Amazon fulfillment workflows . Strong knowledge of 3PL management and Shopify–warehouse operations. Background in sourcing from factories , preferably in manufacturing. Strong problem-solving, vendor management, and analytical skills. Nice to Have Experience with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean). Prior experience scaling operations in a high-growth environment. Japanese language skills or prior exposure to the Japanese market.
