About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior SDK Engineer (L5) to join our Games SDK team. As a Senior Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing the tools that enable game developers to integrate with the Netflix Games Platform, creating a seamless and immersive experience for our members. Your expertise in C/C++, cross-platform development, and software engineering will be instrumental in driving the success of our gaming initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable software solutions for the Netflix Games Platform using C/C++ on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, architectures, and documentation for the Games SDK.
- Work closely with game developers to integrate Netflix services into their games, providing technical guidance and support.
- Analyze data to inform design decisions and drive improvements in application quality.
- Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the Games SDK.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Experience building cross-platform libraries using C/C++ on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Knowledge of game engines such as Unity and Unreal, native modules, and bindings.
- Experience developing third-party SDKs and integrating with external services.
- Strong understanding of client-server communications, including GraphQL data or similar technologies.
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and drive informed decisions.
