Job Description:
• Lead Technology Strategy
• Own the end-to-end networking technology strategy for US Telcos.
• Define and execute the customer technology strategy across AI Grid, campus networking, data center fabrics, and routing architectures.
• Drive customer adoption of modern designs including AI‑driven wired/wireless, EVPN/VXLAN, unified cloud management, and massively scaled routing.
• Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to influence roadmaps and deliver innovative end‑to‑end solutions.
• Develop and Grow a High‑Performing Team
• Lead a talented Systems Engineering organization with deep expertise across networking domains.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, inclusion, and continuous technical growth.
• Engage with Strategic Customers
• Build senior-level relationship and act as a senior technology leader for Tier-1 service providers in the US.
• Drive a Customer First approach focused on modernization, simplification, security, and operational outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customer executives, architects, and partners.
• Drive Operational Excellence
• Improve SE productivity, coverage, and technical program consistency across the Area.
• Align resources to high‑value opportunities and ensure predictable, high‑quality execution.
• Support HPE’s Operate Efficiently goals by simplifying processes and scaling best practices.
Requirements:
• 10+ years’ experience in SE leadership with a track record of people development and team building
• Proven leadership experience in Systems Engineering leading a large, complex account.
• Deep expertise in service provider networking (MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, IS-IS, etc.), data center networking (EVPN/VXLAN, leaf‑spine), and campus & branch networking.
• Demonstrated ability to build and inspire high‑performing technical teams.
• Strong communication, executive presence, and strategic thinking.
• Experience guiding customers through large-scale network transformations.
• Demonstrated profound understanding of technology dynamics within area of control, as a basis for informed business decision making.
• Experience in workforce planning, executing acquisition and development strategies targeted to ensuring workforce readiness, and market opportunity responsiveness.
• University or Bachelor's degree, advanced university or Master's degree preferred.
