Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) specialist to help scale a Shopify store that already receives traffic but is under-converting.
Our goal is simple:
Turn cold traffic into paying customers and increase revenue per visitor.
This is not a beginner-level role.
We need someone who understands customer psychology, conversion strategy, UX optimization, and data-driven experimentation — not just cosmetic design changes.
Key Objectives
• Analyze current store performance and identify conversion bottlenecks
• Optimize homepage, product pages, and checkout flow for higher conversions
• Improve trust signals, brand credibility, and perceived product value
• Create clear customer journeys from cold traffic to purchase
• Suggest and implement A/B testing strategies
• Optimize mobile shopping experience
• Increase average order value (AOV) through upsells and bundles
• Set up proper tracking (GA4, Shopify analytics, heatmaps)
What We Expect From You
• Proven CRO experience specifically with Shopify stores
• Ability to audit a store and provide a clear action plan
• Strong understanding of consumer psychology and buying behavior
• Experience with heatmap tools (Hotjar, Lucky Orange, etc.)
• Ability to implement changes directly or guide our team
• Clear communication and structured reporting
