Our Story:
Ours is the story of one classic dilemma, two enduring passions, and one universal dream. After a seven-year global pilgrimage—from Michelin-starred hideaways to bustling street stalls—we reaffirmed our devotion to the simple perfection of chicken and eggs. We created The Nest to be a dream of home: a place where neighbors meet, eat, and trade the fruits of their labors. We honor the global culinary geniuses we met by synthesizing their recipes into something our local patrons find both remarkable and comfortable. The Nest is free-range brought home. The Role:
We are looking for a creative storyteller to join our small team as a Social Media Manager and Content Creator. This role is for someone who understands that a great meal is an experience worth sharing. You will be the visual voice of The Nest, capturing the energy of our space, the craft of our kitchen, and the heart of our community across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Youtube and our weekly e-newsletter.
What You’ll Do:
• Content Creation: Plan, film, and edit high-quality short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) that capture the essence of The Nest.
• On-Camera Presence: Feel comfortable being the "face" or "voice" behind the brand when needed to engage our community.
• Platform Management: Execute daily posts, manage engagement (comments/DMs), and stay ahead of cultural social media trends.
• Editorial Ownership: Produce and manage our weekly e-newsletter, ensuring our "Local Flavor" reaches our subscribers' inboxes with polish and personality.
• Brand Representation: Respond to reviews and comments across different platforms including Google, Yelp, Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub etc.
• Brand Growth: Work closely with the management team to brainstorm new ways to tell our story and highlight our focus on creating a "second home" for our guests.

• A Storyteller: You have an editorial eye for design and video; you don't just "post," you communicate a feeling.
• Detail-Oriented: You are process-driven and take pride in the "small things"—from a perfect caption to a seamless video transition.
• Self-Starter: You are resourceful, comfortable working independently, and possess a "no task is too small" attitude.
• Culturally Aware: You live and breathe social trends but know how to adapt them to fit a sophisticated, local brand.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Entry-level or internship experience in social media operations/content creation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CapCut, Canva, Figma, and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Platform Expertise: Deep familiarity with the TikTok and Instagram ecosystems.
• Communication: Exceptional writing skills with a knack for brand-consistent storytelling.
