Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance and identify potential tax savings opportunities.
Prepare and review tax returns, including federal, state, and international filings.
Communicate with internal stakeholders, including finance and accounting teams, to gather necessary data and information for tax reporting purposes.
Collaborate with external tax advisors and authorities to resolve any tax-related issues or inquiries.
Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to effectively advise the company on any potential impacts.
Develop and maintain tax documentation and processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Assist with tax planning and forecasting to minimize tax liabilities and optimize the company's tax position.
Provide support and guidance to other departments within the company regarding tax-related matters.
Participate in tax audits and assist with the preparation of audit responses.
Continuously evaluate and improve tax processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive tax information.
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Complete other tax-related duties and projects as assigned by management.
