The Tech Lead plays a pivotal role in architecting and delivering high-quality full-stack solutions across diverse digital environments. This position requires deep expertise in back-end frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and engineering best practices to lead the development of scalable, production-ready experiences. The ideal candidate brings over a decade of hands-on development experience, a passion for mentoring teams, and a strong point of view on modern technologies and platforms. This role is both technical and client-facing, requiring clear communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams toward successful outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesLead architecture and development of full-stack solutions across a wide range of digital experiences and environments.
Serve as a technical authority and coach for engineering teams, setting quality standards and ensuring best practices in code, documentation, testing, and automation.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
Collaborate cross-functionally in a multidisciplinary team to maintain project health, team morale, and successful delivery.
Provide informed technical direction on platforms, frameworks, and styling strategies to drive innovation and elevate our digital presence.
Ensure successful delivery of fully functional, scalable, and maintainable production-ready solutions.
Advocate for cloud-based architecture and deployment strategies, leveraging platforms like AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
Contribute to and enforce internal standards for development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and team knowledge sharing.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions clearly and confidently to both internal teams and clients.
Demonstrated ability to set and manage expectations, ensuring successful project execution and client satisfaction.
A collaborative mindset with a balance of humility and confidence—comfortable working within cross-functional teams and mentoring others.
Flexible and adaptable in dynamic environments, with a growth-oriented approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Strong expertise in a modern front-end framework (React preferred, Vue or Angular acceptable).
Familiarity with Django/Python ecosystem.
Experience deploying & managing applications on at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean).
Team leadership & mentoring skills — fostering collaboration, maintaining team health.
Familiarity with Wagtail is highly desirable.
