ICA is seeking a Telugu language instructor to teach a part-time online class. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience teaching Telugu to adult learners in a proficiency-oriented, intensive environment.

• Period of performance: 2/16/2026 – 8/11/2026
• Training days: Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays
• Schedule: 4 hours a week; any time between 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Hourly rate: $27.00 + prep time
• Number of students: 1
• Current level: upper intermediate
Minimum Qualifications
• Two years of full-time experience teaching Telugu to adult students in an intensive setting
• Bachelor’s degree in foreign language, linguistics, language teaching, or a related field
• Native or near-native proficiency in the Telugu language
• Experience teaching via Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx or another online platform
Essential duties:
• Plan and conduct target-language instruction using a variety of teaching techniques and approaches to develop students’ listening, reading, and speaking skills
• Adapt teaching techniques and approaches to students’ individual learning styles and professional needs
• Administer weekly quizzes and assessments, and conduct informal and formal evaluations to monitor student learning progress
• Provide monthly written progress reports to the supervisor and collaborate on plans to address any identified issues
• Maximize the use of instructional technology and online learning resources to support independent learning
