The Role As an Estate Planning Paralegal, you will be a key part of the legal team, working closely with attorneys to move matters forward efficiently and accurately. Among other things, your responsibilities will include: • Drafting & Document Preparation: Using our modern, proprietary software system, prepare estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments • Client Coordination: Communicating with clients to answer their questions, gather information, follow up on outstanding items, and keep matters moving • File & Workflow Management: Managing deadlines, checklists, and document organization across active matters • Attorney Support: Assisting attorneys with revisions, execution preparation, and post-signing follow-up • Team Collaboration: Working independently while staying connected throughout the day with a responsive and amazing remote team What You Bring to the Table • Estate Planning Experience (Required): You have prior experience working in trusts and estates or estate planning. You understand the terminology, documents, and flow of these matters. • Attention to Detail: You produce clean, accurate work and take pride in getting it right. • Self-Motivation: You are comfortable working remotely, managing your day, and meeting deadlines without micromanagement. • Tech-Comfortable: You adapt quickly to legal software, document systems, and remote collaboration tools. • The Right Vibe: Professional, organized, calm under pressure, and allergic to drama.
