About the position
Responsibilities
• Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students via secure online platforms.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
• Offer crisis intervention and support to students in distress.
• Develop and deliver professional development workshops for educators and staff on mental health topics.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
• Stay current with best practices in school psychology and virtual counseling.
Requirements
• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid School Psychologist license in Illinois.
• Experience in a school setting, with a strong understanding of IEPs, BIPs, and school-based mental health services.
• Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and platforms.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
