About the position
RGP is seeking a Solution Architecture Consultant to design and govern a global Workforce Management (WFM) ecosystem for a major oil and gas client. This role will define the architecture connecting time capture through pay calculation and general ledger postings, ensuring seamless integration with ADP Global Payroll (Celergo/Streamline) and SAP S/4HANA.
This individual will serve as both a strategic architect and a functional expert- balancing hands-on technical depth with an ability to create scalable, compliant, and sustainable solutions. Acting as the design authority, you will guide a global rollout that supports complex workforce environments, including rotational, unionized, and remote operations.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and standardization of the global WFM architecture, including country-level patterns that address regional labor practices and workforce structures.
• Define and maintain the canonical data model that connects UKG systems to ADP payroll and SAP S/4HANA for accurate earnings, deductions, and cost allocation.
• Oversee integration and data strategy across platforms, ensuring accuracy, automation, and auditability through APIs, WIM, and secure file-based workflows.
• Establish and govern global standards for pay and work rules, accruals, scheduling, and exception management, adapting frameworks for local compliance needs.
• Serve as the key design authority for change requests and system extensions, maintaining documentation and ensuring solution alignment to business goals.
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Payroll, HR, and IT to align technology design with business operations and compliance frameworks.
• Define and monitor performance and data quality targets, driving automation and regression coverage to maintain long-term system stability and consistency.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree required; field of study is flexible, with emphasis on proven experience and leadership in workforce or systems architecture.
• 12-18+ years of experience leading global Workforce Management and payroll solution architecture initiatives.
• Deep expertise in UKG/Kronos (Dimensions, WFC v8), ADP Global Payroll (Celergo, Streamline), and SAP S/4HANA FI/CO.
• Proven track record designing and delivering end-to-end time, pay, and financial posting processes across multiple geographies.
• Strong understanding of complex workforce environments, including rotational scheduling, union labor agreements, and offshore/onshore operations.
• Technical proficiency in integration methods (APIs, WIM, ETL tools), data validation frameworks, and audit-readiness controls.
• Experience leading multi-vendor delivery environments with diverse systems integrators and stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to balance strategic vision and execution detail.
Nice-to-haves
• Background in oil and gas, energy, or heavy industrial sectors preferred; certifications in UKG, ADP, SAP, PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
