Workers Compensation Hearing Representative | Remote Opportunity

Our client is a well established and expanding California Workers’ Compensation Defense practice. This role would be ideal for some from a workers comp defense firm, insurance carrier, or TPA that wants an end to end role and can work fully remote in California! We are supporting them in recruiting 3+ Hearing Representatives and can hire quite quickly for the ideal candidate. The reason for role is due to expansion and they are taking on new clients so need to grow the well established team. • Open to years of experience, at least 2 years minimum, and no limit on maximum • Full cycle role, have handled end to end hearings and lien litigation where you appeared before the WCAB. This role would not be suited for candidates whose experience is limited to phone negotiations, calendaring, or administrative lien processing. Salary and Benefits • Base salary $75K–$120K based on experience PLUS discretionary bonus • Medical, Dental, Vision benefits • 401(k) with employer contribution • Life and disability insurance • PTO and additional benefits Essential experience • Worked in a California based/ focused Workers’ Compensation defense firm, insurance carrier, Workers Compensation Carrier, or TPA • Experience appearing before the WCAB and litigating medical liens. • Personally attended hearings as part of your BAU and argued medical lien disputes before WCAB judges (not just copy Liens only) • Handle files independently and negotiating resolutions through both litigation and settlement. • Strong knowledge of AMA Guides and permanent disability rating • Experience managing medical lien files and negotiating lien settlements • Open to travel to occasional hearings that require in-person appearance at WCAB district offices. Key Responsibilities • Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation medical lien files from review through resolution • Attend hearings and argue medical lien disputes before WCAB judges • Appear at Mandatory Settlement Conferences, Status Conferences, and walk-through settlements • Rate permanent disability using the AMA Guides and evaluate apportionment • Negotiate directly with lien claimants to resolve disputes efficiently • Draft settlement agreements, declarations, and legal position statements • Communicate regularly with clients including employers, insurance carriers, and TPAs Apply Now Apply Now
