Junior to Mid-Level GIS Programmer/Analyst (Full Time, Primarily Remote) The GIS Programmer/Analyst will provide full-time, remote support (based on East coast time zone) via no code/low code development for mobile tools products in the Esri portal environment. Responsibilities also include attending meetings and conversing with Subject Matter Experts to observe, learn, and provide insight into and recommendations about all mobile tool functionalities regarding their impact on programs and existing workflows or systems. Also working with customer staff to define, document, and develop system needs, and analyze and document system needs in layman’s terms to communicate proposed paths forward for developing and implementing program system needs. The GIS Programmer/Analyst will ensure mobile tool integrity, efficiency and effectiveness by analyzing the technical and financial feasibility of ongoing system development and future system needs, analyzing systems and functionality to ensure optimum use of existing resources and potential new needs, providing tangible representation of the relationship of different business tool activities, and providing reasonable timelines for system development. Position Requirements: The GIS Programmer/Analyst must have: • At least 2 years of experience with no code/low code development for mobile tools • At least 2 years of experience with creating custom geoprocessing tools with Python for use in the Esri Portal environment • At least 2 years of experience with Esri Web App Builder maps and the creation of custom widgets for use within those maps • At least 1 year of experience with Esri Smart Forms in Esri Portal 10.8 or higher • Must be able to pass a background check • Ability to work from home • Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills • Ability to think outside the box • Ability to work with minimal management input • Must be able to work in a geographically distributed team environment, and exhibit professionalism at all times.
