Job Title: Lecturer/Special Lecturer - Criminal Justice Job Description Summary: The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work and Criminal Justice invites applicants for the positions of Lecturer and Special Lecturer to instruct courses in criminal justice, including introduction to criminal justice, criminological theory, specialized courses taught by criminal justice practitioners and other courses as the need arises. This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the Department may draw as sections become open at any point in the 2025-2026 academic year. This posting may or may not result in the hiring of an applicant. Pre-employment screening includes verification of academic credentials and background check. Minimum Qualifications: Relevant work experience or MS/MA in criminal justice, criminology or related discipline, PhD (ABD also) or JD preferred depending on course. Work experience must meet HLC guidelines for faculty qualification.
