QA - Level 2

Position Title: Manual QA Level - 2 Department: IT Classification: Non-Exempt Reports To: QA Manager Installation Made Easy (“IME”) provides software and process management that enable retailers and contractors to offer installed home improvements to homeowners in a convenient, consistent, and affordable manner. IME senior management has over 100 years of retail management and home improvement industry experience. IME is seeking a Quality Assurance professional with advanced experience in testing and quality control. In this role, you will use your expertise to guide and oversee the work of the QA Level 1 testers, and you will also be responsible for executing more complex test cases and reviewing the results of the tests performed by the QA Level 1 testers. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that products meet end-user expectations and satisfy all product requirements. An ideal candidate for this role will be able to multitask, stay organized, and self-motivated. The candidate must be able to work independently in a remote environment. Essential Functions: • Oversee the work of QA Level 1 testers, providing guidance and support as needed. • Design and implement testing plans for products. • Identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services. • Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team. • Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress. • Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meets end-user expectations. • Spot areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency. • Perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications: • Ability to capture issues, describe them, and communicate the issue in writing – or via a video. • Able to communicate well verbally and in writing. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of Affiliate | Call Center | Central Processing | Customer roles, being able to spot things that should not apply from role to role • Use of test pad to capture test cases / scenarios • Use of Azure DevOps to write up bugs / tickets • Working knowledge of Cypress • Basic SQL knowledge • Some exposure to programming • Postman experience Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
