Roofing Estimator (100% Fully Remote!)-$120K+
Estimator-Roofing Position Overview The Estimator-Roofing is responsible for accurately assessing and estimating the costs of roofing projects. This role requires strong analytical skills as well as knowledge of roofing materials and techniques. The estimator will work closely with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure that all estimates are precise and comprehensive, facilitating successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for roofing projects based on project plans and specifications. • Analyze blueprints and project documents to determine overall project requirements and scope. • Communicate with clients, architects, and contractors to gather necessary project information. • Utilize estimating software such as Xactimate and Procore to create and manage estimates. • Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather data for accurate estimation. • Review and analyze subcontractor bids and solicit additional quotes as necessary. • Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project correspondence.
