Senior IAM Integration Engineer (Remote - NC, AZ, NJ, VA)

About the position This is a remote role that may be hired in NC, NJ, VA, AZ. Remote with ability to travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, Phoenix, Arizona or Morristown, New Jersey, on an as needed basis. The IAM Integration Engineer is responsible for leading the deployment and seamless integration of advanced IAM solutions within the company's IT infrastructure. This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and managing IAM systems to enhance security and operational efficiency. Responsibilities • Lead the setup, configuration, and customization of new IAM solutions to meet the company's specific needs and security policies. • Ensure the IAM solutions integrate effectively with existing IT and security systems, including directory services, HR systems, cloud platforms, and data repositories. • Design and optimize IAM workflows and processes for efficient access control and user management. • Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users on new IAM systems and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting. • Maintain compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards, continuously evaluate the security configurations to mitigate potential risks. • Keep detailed documentation of IAM architectures, configuration settings, and operational guidelines. • Guide and mentor junior integration engineers. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security. Nice-to-haves • Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are advantageous. • Expert knowledge of IAM principles, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and privileged access management. • Experience with managing and integrating Veza application. • Proficiency in APIs and systems integration. • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset. • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to convey complex IAM concepts to diverse audiences.
