Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated 100% Remote Front End Software Engineer to support a leading financial services client. In this role, you will play a key part in building front end web applications that serve as the foundation of their engineering ecosystem. We are looking for a talented engineer with a strong background building modern web applications who is passionate about creating intuitive, high-performance applications.
Overview
Location: Remote (100% remote). This role focuses on front-end development for financial services technologies and requires collaboration with backend services and design systems to deliver scalable user experiences.
Responsibilities
• Deliver new product features for applications, including training & documentation modules, catalog discovery, and submission/approval flows.
• Own front-end execution — architecture and component design, state management, routing, performance optimization, and accessibility.
• Integrate with APIs to manage metadata, perform validations, and reflect approval states, status updates, and real-time notifications.
• Elevate product quality with automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end), robust error handling, QA testing scenarios, and analytics/telemetry instrumentation for data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to scope work, refine acceptance criteria, and deliver iteratively.
• Contribute to long-term planning for scalable front-end architecture, design system evolution, and sustainable release practices.
Qualifications / Requirements
• 3+ years of experience developing web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to integrate with RESTful APIs and collaborate with Python-based microservices.
• Familiarity with design systems and a keen eye for performance optimization.
• Comfortable working in CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments.
• Experience working with React server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks.
• Experience integrating Python-backed APIs using Django and/or FastAPI.
