About the position
We’re hiring a Founding Account Executive to help build Meera AI’s go-to-market engine from the ground up. This is a high impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in early stage environments and enjoys building as much as selling. This is not a plug-and-play AE role. You will actively shape how we sell, expand on our ICP, refining discovery, pressure-testing messaging, and contributing directly to our repeatable sales processes. You’ll work closely with the VP of Sales and the rest of the leadership team to help expand on a scalable, predictable revenue motion.
Responsibilities
• Own the full sales cycle
• Prospect, engage, and close new business from both inbound leads and cold outbound, founder-led pipeline, tradeshows
• Run end-to-end sales motions from first touch to close
• Occasional travel to trade shows across the country
• Build and refine the sales motion
• Partner with the VP of Sales to define and iterate on: Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), Discovery and qualification frameworks, Deal stages and close processes
• Apply structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPICED) to complex, consultative deals
• Pressure-test the market
• Test messaging, pricing, and packaging in real customer conversations
• Identify patterns in objections, deal blockers, and buyer behavior
• Create early sales infrastructure
• Provide structured feedback on: Buyer personas, Competitive landscape, Objections and lost deals
• Contribute to the first sales playbooks, outbound motions, and repeatable processes
Requirements
• 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
• Proven ability to close complex, consultative SaaS deals
• Prior experience sourcing your own pipeline through cold outbound
• Experience operating in ambiguity (early-stage product, evolving playbook)
• Strong discovery, qualification, and objection-handling skills
• Hands-on experience with structured sales frameworks (MEDDIC, SPICED, or similar)
• CRM fluency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)
• Experience using sequencing and outbound tools (Apollo, Lemlist, or similar)
Nice-to-haves
• Experience as a first or second AE at an early-stage startup
• Experience influencing pricing or packaging decisions
• Experience with data enrichment tools such as Clay
• SaaS experience in insurance, banking, or healthcare
