Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement applications for computer systems, ensuring they meet user expectations and company standards
- Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to gather requirements and ensure the application meets user needs
- Conduct code reviews to ensure maintainability and scalability of the application and oversee the development process to adhere to best practices
- Evaluate and implement software integrations, ensuring applications can scale effectively and perform optimally under varying loads
- Ensure that applications comply with security standards and data privacy regulations, protecting against potential vulnerabilities
- Provide guidance and support to development teams, helping them understand architectural principles and best practices
- Review existing system architectures and suggest improvements or alternatives
- Identify and resolve any application and data issues
- Monitor and manage the regular updates and upgrades of the software applications
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- 8 or more years of experience
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#), software design patterns, and system architectures (e.g., microservices, service-oriented architecture)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their architectural principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner

- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail
- Ability to analyze systems and procedures

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
- Previous experience in software development and architecture, with a proven track record of successful application design and implementation
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently
