As an Avid Tutor, you'll have the opportunity to work remotely and enjoy a flexible schedule while making a positive impact on students' academic success.
About the Role:
- Collaborate with AVID students to support their academic goals
- Utilize specific teaching methodologies and materials to drive student success
- Serve as a role model and advocate for students, while working closely with teachers
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss student progress and plan future tutorials
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university
- Trained in specific teaching methodologies and materials for AVID students
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a supportive manner with secondary students
- Willingness to meet regularly to discuss student progress
- Testing required: TBD
