Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver effective lessons that engage students and promote academic achievement
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
- Maintain a safe, attractive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and inquiry
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in education
Requirements:
- Texas State Teacher's Certification as Elementary Generalist or Elementary Self-Contained Teacher
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Passing score on an ExCET/TExES Exam in grade level or content area
- Experience with classical education or traditional teaching methods (preferred)
