About the position Responsibilities • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to achieve the best total value. • Manage the seven steps of the sourcing process including spend analysis, market research, supplier due diligence, sourcing strategy, RFX management, bid analysis, and contract management. • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and their core competencies using industry cost models. • Perform analysis of financial and business data related to supplier proposals and capability assessments. • Develop, manage, and lead cross-functional teams in strategic sourcing processes and contract negotiations. • Lead negotiations on contract terms with suppliers at the Senior Management level. • Create sourcing strategies to acquire materials and services at the right price and quality. • Execute supplier relationship management activities for key assigned suppliers. • Support the growth of the Supply Chain Management practice by contributing to collateral development and methodology. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience. • Strategic Sourcing or Category Sourcing Management experience. • Knowledge of legal language and terminologies related to contracting. Nice-to-haves • Master's degree. • Certifications in CPSM/CPM/CIPS/CSCP. • Certification in Lean Six Sigma. • Ability to define and develop work products and deliverables. • Experience in conducting interviews and coordinating business workshops using Design Thinking approaches. • Experience in Ariba, SAP, Google Suite & Microsoft Suite applications.
