Key Responsibilities
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator is responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation. The CI Coordinator works closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, implement sustainable improvements, and standardize best practices.
• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and standardization across manufacturing operations.
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to identify process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze current working methods and lead the design, implementation, and sustainment of improved processes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor key quality and performance indicators to support data-driven decision-making.
• Train, coach, and support employees on continuous improvement tools and methodologies such as 5S, SMED, pull flow, as required.
• Conduct regular 5S audits in manufacturing areas, track results, and manage corrective actions to ensure sustainability.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Results-oriented, proactive, and dynamic leader with the ability to gain credibility and respect on the shop floor.
• Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with hands-on leadership of continuous improvement projects.
• Knowledge and practical application of continuous improvement methodologies and tools (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CAD drawings
