Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your duties will be multifaceted, requiring a unique blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal abilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Handling incoming and outgoing calls with members, caregivers, doctors, and other outside providers to address documentation and account needs.
• Reviewing documentation for completion and insurance compliance, and accurately entering this information into member accounts.
• Conducting thorough reviews of patient accounts and records to ensure timely and effective patient service.
• Communicating professionally with Team Supports and Management for matters requiring approval or escalation.
• Utilizing the Customer Service Wiki to maintain a strong knowledge base of processes, procedures, insurance guidelines, products, and company information.
• Making suggestions for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will need to possess certain essential qualifications and skills, including:

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• The ability to multitask and utilize multiple computer applications to access and enter data in member accounts.
• A commitment to conducting yourself in a HIPAA compliant and ethical manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review documentation and patient accounts accurately.

While not mandatory, the following preferred qualifications and experiences will be considered advantageous:

• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service role, with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks at various stages of completion.
• Previous experience requiring clear and calm communication by phone.
• Experience using computer systems and maintaining good records.
