Director of Sales – East Coast
Gather Brands is a boutique sales consulting agency built for mission-driven CPG brands. We combine strategic sales execution with thoughtful partnership to help brands grow responsibly and authentically.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
• Manage Gather Brands portfolio within specified account base
• Submit all brand partners and products to accounts within the Gather Brands East Coast region
• Adhere to category review calendars within each of your respective accounts
• Build annual promotional calendars for each retailer/brand and submit accordingly
• Direct and monitor all aspects of trade promotions (including post-event analysis) within your specified account base
• Report and communicate updates with brand partners consistently
• Act as the primary sales point of contact for brand partners within the specified accounts of coverage
• Build and execute retail strategies in collaboration with brand partners within your respective accounts
• Build and foster relationships with distributor representatives within specified territory
Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of experience in the CPG industry
• Experience working with the Key Natural & Specialty accounts in the East Coast Markets
• Experience speaking to and negotiating with retail buyers and a track record of closing deals
• Experience with distributors in and around the East Coast regions
• Familiar with working remotely and collaboratively
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and process driven skillset
• Insanely efficient follow up and follow through skills
• Demonstrated success with an emerging brand or highly competitive consumer products category
