The Impact You Will Make
As a Distribution Warehouse Material Handler, you'll play a critical role in our distribution center operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Material Organization
- Operate Reach Truck – gather, move, and stack pallets to support efficient operations
- Operate Dock Stocker – unload, sort, and track salvage returns from stores
- Unload and lay down pallets – in reusable condition for order fill processing
Material Recycling
- Move and stack recyclables – to support efficient operations
- Remove corrugate, plastic, and debris – from breeze ways containers, bins, and receptacles
What We're Looking For
To succeed as a Distribution Warehouse Material Handler, you'll need:
- Passion for pets and people – a desire to make a difference in the lives of our customers' pets
- High school diploma or equivalent – preferred
- Ability to follow instructions – and respond to standard requests
- Physical ability – to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable with varying temperatures and noise levels – in a fast-paced distribution center environment
- Willingness to operate powered industrial and mechanical equipment – with proper training and safety standards
