Job Summary
As an Entry Level Electrical Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of temporary power equipment at customer job sites. This is a full-time position that requires outdoor work, frequent drive time, and physical activity, including heavy lifting and ladder climbing. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of construction projects, develop your skills, and contribute to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities
As an Entry Level Electrical Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Driving and Installation: Load and stock company vehicle, drive to job sites, and install temporary power poles, wire, and other equipment.
- Electrical Tasks: Perform various electrical tasks, including installing permanent utility materials and equipment for construction projects.
- Safety and Quality Control: Conduct hot checks on jobs before leaving to ensure no hot neutrals, and wear OSHA-compliant safety equipment.
- Communication and Reporting: Accurately report to dispatch and scheduler, fill out tickets, highlight maps, and review tickets with Mapper each day.
- Vehicle Operation: Drive vehicles in accordance with laws and Power Plus driving standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed as an Entry Level Electrical Worker, you'll need:
- Physical Abilities: Ability to lift 80 pounds, work on ladders (heights), and perform physical tasks.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read maps, experience working with connecting phone systems a plus.
- Licenses and Certifications: Class B or Class A license a plus, ET card a plus.
- Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
